The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

OFF

You may be aware that the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR) has taken effect from today. It has changed how we can use personal data and keep it safe, and it also strengthens individuals’ rights over their own data.

The point of this is to make sure sensitive or private information about individuals remains safe. Whilst it is similar to the current Data Protection Act in many ways, there are a few differences, so we have made changes in order to ensure we remain compliant.

One of the key changes is that we have updated our privacy notices for both pupils and parents/carers. These documents are available here but if you would like a paper copy, please contact the school office.
