Parental Support
We are always keen for parents to get involved in their child’s learning and are happy to provide any assistance that could help with this. Whether it be lists of spellings, details of maths methods, website hints and tips or expectations of writing, please ask your child’s teacher to supply what you require and they will do their best to help.
In this section of the website there are pages to assist parents in helping their children in Maths and English, as well as pages of helpful links to online websites and apps that can develop children’s understanding and application of skills.
If there is something you feel you need support with, please contact Mr Aked and he will try to create a suitable page. Alternatively, if you have found something online that is particularly effective or helpful with your child’s learning, please share it so all children can benefit from it.
We have put together a Grammar Glossary of Terms to help you support your child’s learning.
