Our Inclusion Team are here to support every child in their learning journey.
Who are the Inclusion Team?
Mrs Woodroffe, our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and Miss Osborne and Mrs Forrester, our dedicated Senior Inclusion Leads.
What is the Inclusion Team?
- The Inclusion Team plays a vital role in ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their individual needs or backgrounds, have the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. They work closely with teachers, parents, and external specialists to provide tailored support, whether it’s through classroom adjustments, individual learning plans, or additional resources. We are here to support any child that needs us, for however long that’s needed.
How Can the Inclusion Team Help?
- Personalised Support: The team will work with any pupils who need extra help, including those with special educational needs, to create personalised strategies for success.
- Family Collaboration: We believe in the power of partnership. The team is here to listen to your concerns, discuss your child’s progress, and work together to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Inclusive Practices: They also guide the school in implementing inclusive practices that benefit all students, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if you feel your child might benefit from additional support. You can contact any of the Inclusion Team through your child’s Dojo, find us on the gates in the morning or call us directly on 01782 234953.
