In our classrooms, we follow our school values TOGETHER – Trust, Optimism, Gratitude, Enthusiasm, Thoughtfulness, Honesty, Enjoyment, and Respect – and use them every day as we learn, play, and grow. This page gives you information about our curriculum, trips and special events. Our goal is for every child to flourish and be the best that they can be, developing confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a safe and happy environment.
PE Day: Friday
Please ensure that if your child has earrings, they are removed for PE days. Children are required to always have their PE kit in school, and it will be sent home at the end of the half term.
Times Table Book- 1 section per night. In year 2 we focus on 2,5,10 times tables and mastering them with division.
Reading: We advise that you read with your child every night. Please fill in the reading diary with a comment and sign it.
Spelling Shed: 10 games per week. We welcome you practicing your spellings written too, alongside the app learning.
We have three fantastic trips:
- Chester Zoo – to meet amazing animals and learn about wildlife.
- Go Ape and High Wires – for an outdoor adventure, challenges, and lots of fun!
- Ford Green Hall – to explore the Great Fire of London and to ‘time travel back to 1666’
