At Priory CE Academy we are passionate about encouraging all of our children to ‘Work TOGETHER with God to be the best that we can be’. This is in all aspects of school life, from our academic learning to becoming the best future citizens that we can.

The children are held at the heart of all we do. We work in close collaboration with our wider community and the St Bart’s Trust to inspire our children to be the light of the world and to grow their knowledge together

We are proud to be a Church of England Primary school. Our school TOGETHER values are integral to all we do all we offer to our children, staff and the wider community.

Collective Worship at Priory

At Priory we gather together to take part in daily acts of worship to support our pupils in their: spiritual development, sense of community, to support our moral and ethical learning, explore religious and cultural views and to reflect and celebrate together.

At Priory we provide a wide range of worship experiences throughout the week. Our worship times take place as either whole school or within our individual classes.

We work closely with Reverend Shaun from St Matthias Church in Hanford, who delivers worship on a weekly basis. We also host ‘Open the Book’ worships with Trentham Parish Church.

MondayTeacher Led

On Mondays we start the week in whole school collective worship. This worship is led by our teachers and introduces the worship theme of the week. Our themes are taken from iSingPop and are based on Christian values such as honesty.

Praise Time

We have the opportunity to sing our praises! Praise time fosters our sense of community and is a time where we explore themes of spirituality, values and well-being all through song.

iSingPOP Worships

In these special class worships, we continue our spiritual learning with the iSingPOP crew. Our Monday worship themes link with iSingPOP and we have the opportunity to sing our Praises too!

Reverend Shaun Worships

Wednesdays are wonderful as Reverend Shaun leads us in worship. Together we explore a number of themes relating to Jesus and his life.

Big Questions

These class worships allow us to explore Big Questions. We get the opportunity to think deeply and share our ideas.

Wow Worships

In our Wow Worships we have the opportunity to share a bit about our lives and the things we enjoy. During this time, we explore how we live our values and where we see spirituality and values within our own lives

St Bart’s Digital Worships

These worships give us the chance to worship alongside the rest of our St Bart’s family. We even get the opportunity to get involved and lead worship.

Jack in the Box EYFS

Jack in the box is delivered to Early Years and explores some of the themes of Jesus’ life in a fun and interactive manner!
