In our classrooms, we follow our school values TOGETHER – Trust, Optimism, Gratitude, Enthusiasm, Thoughtfulness, Honesty, Enjoyment, and Respect – and use them every day as we learn, play, and grow. This page gives you information about our curriculum, trips and special events. Our goal is for every child to flourish and be the best that they can be, developing confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a safe and happy environment.
PE Day: Monday
Please ensure that if your child has earrings, they are removed for PE days. Children are required to always have their PE kit in school, and it will be sent home at the end of the half term.
Times Table Book- 1 section per night. In year 4 we focus on all times tables and mastering them with division. We have the MTC times tables check in Year 4 so this is an important part of our journey.
Reading: We advise that you read with your child every night. Please fill in the reading diary with a comment and sign it.
Spelling Shed: 10 games per week. We welcome you practicing your spellings written too, alongside the app learning.
We have three fantastic trips:
- States of Matter workshop – looking at solids, liquids and gases. POP!
- Think Tank Museum – we explore electricity and the wonderful inventions in the world.
- Roman battle- dress up day with a battle like a real Roman Celt.
